Abstract
"The essay includes scientific writing, so the writing must fit a correct code of writing. If there is an error in writing, then the meaning will also change. Hamzah’s precision caused students to often miswrite their skripsi’s. The study aims to identify hamzah’s writing errors in the script of student STIQ Amuntai, knowing cause, and knowing the advice of the lecturer. The qualitative descriptive libraries research uses documentation techniques and interviews with three scripts as samples and three authors. Research shows that errors in the script as many as 45 errors in the text are as follows: (1) 39 errors in the writing of hamzah qatha’; (2) 6 errors in the writing of hamzah washal. Causes of errors made by students: (1) inaccuracy when writing scripts; (2) inadequate to write an Arabic vocabulary; (3) ignorance about imla and especially hamzah. As for the lecturer’s direction in writing words particularly the writing code of hamzah, among other things: (1) he is recommended to read the books of imla to make script easier; (2) be careful in writing and vocabulary selection; (3) use a dictionary to write vocabulary to correct wrongs.
